While it does have some good games and movies, there are movies and games that either copy off each other or are basically copies of more popular games (one game is basically the NES game Contra recreated, which I wonder how it stayed up without Newgrounds getting a cease and desist from Konami, as while it does add options and improve the effects, it adds nothing new, as it's just the same game as some gamers growing up in the 80's and 90's played on their Nintendo Entertainment System, and most movies posted on the site nowadays are either using characters recreating scenes from various movies and TV shows or basically having a character do a meme, which there are way too many of the latter), there are two things that ruin the experience. However, over the years, it has gone to the point where it's no longer in its former glory.
Newgrounds was once a neat site of flash games in the 1990's and 2000's, starting off as a display of one man, Tom Fulp, while eventually evolving into a site where people can post their own games and movies.
